Schoolapalooza 2017 Report

Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers that made Schoolapalooza a huge success. We were able to give out around 1200 backpacks with school supplies!
If you were unable to make it to Crandall Park yesterday, we do have about 300 backpacks left. You can get one at these locations/times:
Northway Christian Family Church
Aug. 17 - 18 from 10am - 2pm
Aug. 20 from 11:30-1pm
New Hope Community Church
Aug. 21 -23 from 9am - Noon
Church of the King
Aug. 24 - 25 from 9am - Noon
Aug. 27 from 11:30 - 1pm
A special thanks to Word of Life and all of their volunteers for bringing the great activities for the kids to enjoy. The WOL Dunk Team was so fun to watch and the Illusionist Jonathan Philips brought such a powerful message to all of us! Make sure you read the Life Books that were in all of your backpacks to learn more.
We had wonderful organizations come, including the Open Door, Fidelis Care, HHHN School Dental, Adirondack Health Institute, Schutz Family Dental, Healing Springs, Hope for a Womans Heart, Guiding Steps, 2nd Life Wearhouse & Queensbury Family Chiropractic to bring great give-a-ways.
Our 3 amazing hair stylists volunteered their time to give free haircuts to kids. They stayed until 9pm to finish cutting hair by car light!
