Schoolapalooza FAQ

  1. What if it rains? - We will be having this event rain or shine.
  2. What’s the catch? - No catch. We are just a bunch of Christian youth groups in the area that want to serve and help our community.
  3. Who can come? - ANYONE. You do not need to live in Glens Falls or Queensbury.
  4. What’s the cost? - The is NO cost for anything except the Open Door BBQ. (All money raised is going to their Backpack Lunch Program)
  5. When are the school supplies handed out? - Every 20 minutes starting at 5:20.
  6. Do I need to register? - YES, we need a waiver signed for you to use the activities and rides.
  7. Does my child need to be there? - YES, school supplies are only handed out to children that are present at the event.  (If there are backpacks left over at 8pm, you will be able to take one for your absent child.)
  8. What if I don’t want school supplies? - You will still need to register & get your hand stamped to use the activities and rides.
    What happens if I leave before school supplies are given out or before my registered time? - Take a flyer with the Post-Event Pickup Times and location. If we have any backpacks left, you can still get one.
  9. What if the supplies run out? - Leave us your name and phone number and we will have a Converge Youth Group contact you about getting school supplies.
  10. How do I get a free hair cut? - Hair cuts are first come, first serve with a line starting at the Hair Cut Booth.
